Recruiting the Next Generation of STEM Teachers
Alabama faces a critical shortage of STEM teachers, and UTeach Alabama is working to close the gap. We partnered with the organization to launch a bold, statewide campaign to recruit STEM majors into an innovative dual-degree program that allows students to earn their degree and a teaching certificate at the same time, with no added cost.
At the center of the campaign was a simple, powerful message: U CAN. You can learn. You can grow. You can teach. Through real-life success stories, we helped position teaching as an inspiring career path for the next generation. The impact was immediate with a surge of interest seen at the seven universities offering the UTeach program.
